New in Hamilton starting July 27, in conjunction with Hamilton Tango
Tango Fundamentals by Miguel and Michelle Coppini:
By the end of this six week course, participants will be able to move effectively around the dance floor using basic figures, walking combinations and turns. They will develop key leading and following skills and understand the nature of the embrace and connection between the couple.
Miguel and Michelle are engaging, inspiring and patient tango teachers, with over 20 years of experience. They put the students front and centre and are dedicated to their learning and improvement. Their teaching approach provides all students with explicit, methodical and systematic instruction and guidance.
This course is suitable for people with little or no tango experience. We welcome total newbies!!
This course is also highly recommended for more experienced tango dancers who are curious about the structure of tango and interested in understanding the dance from a structural (as opposed to a figure-based) perspective. This perspective will expand your tango possibilities and provides the foundation for improvisation.

Fee: $80 per person for 6 weeks, or $75 for students with ID. Payment is required at the first class on July 27.
