Miguel and Michelle Coppini will be dancing two Argentine Tango demonstrations on Friday, June 14, 2013 around 8pm and 9:15pm in Burlington, Ontario. The Sound of Music Festival celebrates music in all its forms. It is NOT “the hills are alive with the sound of music” festival, featuring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer — no edelweiss in sight, just cool music and some dancing!
Our Burlington partner, DanceScape is featuring several demonstrations of social dancing and has kindly invited us to showcase “autentico tango argentino” and promote our Monday night classes. We will be at the stage in front of Coffee Culture Café & Eatery near the corner of Brant and Elgin Streets. Brant Street is converted into a pedestrian only avenue, closed to vehicles. This will be our first Sound of Music experience — please join us in the fun!!
