New this fall: Tuesdays in Toronto at Club Milonga

These last few days brought us a bracing reality check — summer is over and fall has arrived.  How are you handling it (in addition to turning on the heat)?  Here is another possible solution: Tango on Tuesdays in Toronto!!! (Say that fast seven times!)

We are delighted to be teaching at Club Milonga on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9pm, starting October 7th. This weekly class begins with 30 minutes geared for beginners, followed by another 60 minutes suitable for the intermediate dancer.  After the class, you can practice what you have learned at the milonga (social dance) until 10:30pm.  The cost for the class and milonga is $12.

Join us at Toronto’s longest running, not-for-profit tango organization, located at the Danforth Baptist Church (60 Bowden Street, near the corner of Danforth Ave; the closest subway station is about 1 block east of the Church at Chester Station.)  More details including a map and class prices may be found here.

Want a sneak preview of the key fundamentals covered in the first half hour of the class? Check out the Tango Structure and Terms Cheat Sheet that we will be handing out tomorrow night.
