This Thursday at La Coqueta: A systematic approach to turns

From 7 to 8pm on Thursday, May 5, join us at La Coqueta (179 Dundas Street East, 2nd floor) for a class dedicated to unveiling the mysteries of giros/turns in Tango, Vals and Milonga.  We will develop the turn concept from a structural and systematic point of view.

New classes at La Coqueta in Toronto starting April 28

On Thursday, April 28th from 7 to 8pm, we will be teaching at La Coqueta in Toronto.  The studio is located at 179 Dundas Street East (at Jarvis) on the second floor.

The class topic is Milonga: Rhythmic Essentials and Variations.

Miguel and Michelle Coppini teaching tango improvisation in Toronto

As newbies to the blogging world, we want to use this medium, however clumsily at first, to create a space in which we can share ideas, resources and information about Argentine tango.

We are full-time tango professionals from Buenos Aires*.  We are passionate, methodical and effective tango teachers.  Our goal is to provide you with what you need to succeed in your tango; our approach is personalized and focussed on your growth.

We are currently teaching on Saturday nights at Palermo Tango Club (Joy of Dance Studio, Danforth and Broadview) from 8:15 – 9:15pm.  Classes cost $18 per person and include the milonga afterwards.  Come join us!!
